- Cadiz have lost their last three La Liga games without scoring.
- The hosts have won just one of their seven starts at Estadio Ramon de Carranza this season, losing four.
- Valladolid’s only two defeats in their last seven (W3, D2) have been against champions Barcelona and current league leaders Atletico Madrid.
Fourth Straight Defeat on the Cards for Cadiz
Valladolid were outclassed at home to Barcelona last week, but Pucela are fancied back in calmer waters this Tuesday night against a Cadiz side who have lost their last three league games on the spin.
Sergio’s side were no match for the champions in their 0-3 reverse at Jose Zorrilla, but they’ve been in decent form overall of late, with three wins and two draws earned in their last seven.
Two of those victories came against Athletic Bilbao (2-1) and Granada (1-3) who are both in the top half of the table, while their only other defeat in that sequence came away to current leaders Atletico Madrid.
Valladolid remain 18th going into this week’s clash, but they’ll be confident of easing themselves clear of danger in the coming weeks, as there’s a clutch of sides all within range who are largely struggling.
11th placed Cadiz are one of those teams and the newly promoted side appear to be feeling the pinch now in the top flight. Alvaro Cervera’s men have lost their last three outings without scoring, while they have won just one of their seven games at Estadio Ramon de Carranza this term, losing four.
Granted, that sole home success came against Barcelona earlier this month, but Cadiz have been extremely poor since that fine effort. Valladolid look worth siding with as a result, and the draw no bet market rates the best option. This gives punters the insurance of stakes returned should the visitors come up short, but we think Sergio’s side can run out 0-1 victors this Tuesday evening.
