Things are underway at U.S. Bank Stadium and while the Dallas Cowboys are sitting at a lowly 2-7, they’re still in contention for the NFC East crown in 2020. Contrarily, the Minnesota Vikings might be red-hot after winning their last three games, but they’re still 4-5 and need to continue winning to hunt down a potential wild-card seat. Andy Dalton returns for the Cowboys after missing the last two games with a concussion and having contracted COVID-19, but he’ll be tasked with having his best game of the season to give Dallas a chance in Minneapolis.
It’ll begin with Dalton’s defensive counterparts though, because the top mission will be to stop or contain Dalvin Cook, who’s on an absolute tear in 2020. Expect to see a heavy dose of Cook early and often now that things are kicked off, and if the Cowboys allow him to have his way, they’ll have no chance at keeping Kirk Cousins and his receiving corps from having a big day to complement him.
Can the Cowboys push the Vikings to the limit like they did the undefeated Pittsburgh Steelers? Stay glued to the live blog below to find out, while enjoying all the highlights and more from a key NFC clash.
