- Eight out of PSV’s last ten games have produced over 2.5 goals including their four starts in this competition.
- Granada’s last three matches have also generated over 2.5 goals.
- October’s reverse fixture between the sides produced three goals as Granada won 1-2 at Philips Stadion.
Overs Appeal at Los Carmenes
The battle for Group E qualification looks set to go down to the wire and Thursday’s contest between Granada and PSV at Los Carmenes looks too close to call.
Granada ran out 1-2 winners at Philips Stadion in October’s reverse fixture, but the Spanish outfit have faltered of late with three consecutive defeats suffered in La Liga.
Nazaries maintained top spot in Group E with a 2-1 victory here against Omonia Nicosia last time out, but that was a game that Granada were expected to ease through and Dutch giants PSV will pose an altogether different test this Thursday – particularly as they seek to avenge that defeat in the Netherlands six weeks ago.
PSV have had a mixed Europa League campaign thus far with two wins and two defeats from four, but they fought back well to beat PAOK 3-2 last week. That was the fourth outing in the competition form PSV that has produced over 2.5 goals, something which has also been a feature in eight of their last ten starts overall.
With Granada’s last three games producing over 2.5 goals as well as October’s reverse contest, backing three goals or more certainly looks the right call here. With Granada struggling for form, we’re also backing PSV to reverse the score-line of the last meeting between the sides.
