Ian White (-175) v Kim Huybrechts ❌
POTD: Joe Cullen (-139) v Jonny Clayton
Couple seasoned veterans go to battle, with both seeking to claim a first appearance in the last 16 of the PDC World Championship. I like World # 16 the Rockstar Joe Cullen to defeat the World # 17 the Ferret Jonny Clayton in this one.
The two have met twice in majors this year, splitting 1-1 with Clayton winning 10-4 at the UK Open in March and Cullen winning 3 sets – 2 sets at the World Grand Prix in October.
Since the beginning November, Cullen has recorded multiple world class victories, including World #10 Ian White, World # 15 Krzysztaf Ratasjki, World # 31 Gabriel Clemens, & World # 76 Adam Hunt. Opposed to Clayton who defeated World #4 Michael Smith, but aside from that, has not defeated any other opponent in the World top 20.
Like the Rockstar Cullen a lot in this one.
Sweetener ?: Simon Whitlock (+110) v Krzysztaf Ratajski
Like World # 18 Wizard Whitlock to pull the upset on World #15 Polish Eagle Krzysztaf Ratajski. Whitlock has shown a propensity to perform well in these spots. Unlike the Polish Eagle, Whitlock has shown an ability to make deep runs in majors.
Taking Whitlock for a small piece.
