- PSG have won four of their last five home games in all competitions.
- RB Leipzig are without a win in three away games, losing two of them.
- PSG have kept a clean sheet in eight of their nine competitive victories this season.
PSG to bounce back at Parc des Princes
PSG fell to their second defeat in three games on Friday as Monaco came back from a 2-0 deficit to win 3-2 at the Stade Louis II, and the Ligue 1 giants will be eager to bounce back on Tuesday.
Their first defeat in this run was away to RB Leipzig earlier this month, but at home last year’s Champions League finalists are understandable favourites. They have won four of their last five home games in all competitions and scored 15 goals in the process, and they face a RB Leipzig side struggling on their travels.
The visiting Germans may have only lost two games this season, but both of those have come in recent away games and they head into this having drawn one and lost two of their last three trips. In fact, RB Leipzig have only won once on the road all season in the Bundesliga and Champions League, and their last trip in this competition was a 5-0 mauling at the hands of Manchester United.
We’re not expecting quite such a comprehensive victory for the French side here, but PSG’s excellent home record does make a home win look appealing.
The hosts have kept a clean sheet in eight of their nine competitive wins this season as well, and with RB Leipzig scoring just one goal in their last three away games a 2-0 correct score prediction is our choice.
