Stevenage look to spring a cup upset
Lamex Stadium is the location for Swansea City this weekend as they travel to Stevenage in the FA Cup.
The hosts have struggled for large parts of the season but two wins in two have seen them lift themselves out of the bottom two in League Two on goal difference. They are still very much in danger though and the FA Cup could prove to be an unwelcome distraction as they look to continue their good league form.
Swansea City could also see this weekend’s game as being in the way as they look to carry on their good recent form and retain their place in the top two of the Championship. They’ve taken 13 points from a possible 18 and will want to keep their confidence going into this game.
The gulf in talent between the two sides should really be evident in this fixture and Swansea should really be targeting a heavy win against the League Two strugglers. We’re predicting that to happen as, even if they have one eye on the league, Swansea should have to too much for Stevenage and we think they should even secure the win on the handicap, which currently sits at -1.
