Frantic Tie Expected in Hoffenheim
Rhein-Neckar-Arena plays host to what looks to be an exciting contest between Hoffenheim and Freiburg as both sides look to build on some good form.
The hosts come into the game following an impressive win over Borussia Monchengladbach before the winter break whilst Freiburg enjoyed an unbeaten run stretching to five games including three wins on the bounce to push themselves into the top half.
Goals have certainly not been in short supply for either side this season with Hoffenheim games seeing an average of 3.4 goals per game (44 goals in 13 matches) whilst Freiburg have almost matched this total with 43 goals in their 13 games (3.3 goals per game) so far this campaign.
With that on our minds, we can see plenty of goals in a match that should be really open between two attacking sides.
Both teams will be looking to grab another win and push towards the top 6 and this should lead to plenty of chances at either end of the pitch. We think the 2.5 goal line should be under serious threat in this match and we’re backing that line to be broken in what could be a thrilling encounter.
There isn’t much between the two sides though and we think a 2-2 draw between the two seems like a fair result, allowing both sides to continue their decent form in recent weeks.
