Week 9 college football betting lines released

The 2020 college football season is officially in full swing with eight weeks in the rearview. And we have another loaded slate of games on tap for next weekend as the calendar approaches November.

The oddsmakers at William Hill Sports Book have already released the opening lines for most of the Week 9 matchups. The action will get underway with two games on Thursday night, followed by four games on Friday night before concluding with a full slate on Saturday to cap off the weekend.

The Week 9 schedule features just one head-to-head matchup between top 25 teams in the Associated Press Poll.

The lone top 25 matchup features a pair of Big Ten Conference teams as No. 3 Ohio State hits the road for a primetime matchup with No. 18 Penn State. The Buckeyes got off to a strong start in their season opener as star quarterback Justin Fields carried Ohio State to dominant 52-17 win over Nebraska. Penn State, however, suffered a stunning and controversial overtime loss on the road at Indiana.

With that in mind, the latest betting lines for the Week 9 college football slate can be seen below via William Hill Sports Book.

Note: All times eastern. Start times and networks subject to change. Games involving FBS teams facing FCS opponents are excluded from the list since there are no betting lines for those matchups.
