- Wycombe are unbeaten in their last three home games (W1, D2) and have lost just one of their last five Championship outings (W2, D2).
- Huddersfield have lost four of their last six league matches including two of their last three on the road.
- However, the visitors have scored in their last ten consecutive Championship outings.
Wycombe Well Priced Against Brittle Terriers
Wycombe’s resumed their recent improvement at the weekend to hold likely promotion challengers Brentford to a 0-0 stalemate at Adams Park and the Chairboys will be confident of going one better this week when they host a Huddersfield side who have lost four of their last six.
Wycombe looked woefully out of their depth at this level as they endured a seven match losing streak at the start of the season, but things have picked up markedly of late for Gareth Ainsworth’s men who have now lost just one of their last five (W2, D2) following Saturday’s draw against the Bees.
They go into Tuesday night’s clash with Huddersfield unbeaten in three home games (W1, D2) and on current form they really should be narrow favourites to beat Carlos Corberan’s Terriers.
The Spaniard is slowly embedding his attacking philosophy at the club, but Town have been far too open in recent outings, typified none more so than their 4-3 weekend defeat at Stoke.
Huddersfield are now down to 16th after four defeats from six including two losses from their last three on the road and we fancy Wanderers to get the better of them in this one.
The visitors are likely to find the net after scoring in their last ten league matches, but Wycombe are gaining belief and can exploit Town’s obvious defensive problems. This could be an easy one on the eye and alongside our Wycombe wager we’re also tipping up a 3-2 score-line at lengthy odds.
